About this plant

Coast banksia is a handsome, broad-crowned tree with silvery-backed leaves and pale-yellow flower spikes that offer nectar over a long season. Its rugged form and twisting branches develop plenty of character with age, while the woody cones add lasting interest. With enough room, it makes a memorable feature tree and a valuable source of food and shelter for wildlife.
