Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 October 2026

Welcome to SEQ Natives. By accessing our website or purchasing products from our online nursery, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

SEQ Natives is a small, independently operated native plant nursery based in Worongary, Queensland, specialising in native plants suitable for South East Queensland gardens and landscapes.

1. Products and Availability

We take care to provide accurate descriptions, photographs and information about the plants available through our nursery.

As plants are living organisms, their appearance, size, shape and growth characteristics may vary depending on seasonal conditions, age and natural variation.

Product photographs are intended as a guide and may not represent the exact plant supplied.

All products are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you to arrange a suitable alternative or provide a refund for the unavailable item.

2. Pricing and Payments

All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD).

Delivery charges and any applicable additional fees will be displayed before completing your purchase.

Payment must be completed through the available checkout methods before orders can be processed.

We reserve the right to update product prices and availability, but changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted and paid for.

3. Delivery and Collection

SEQ Natives offers local delivery within selected areas of the Gold Coast and surrounding regions.

Our standard delivery arrangements are:

  • A $15 delivery fee for orders under $100.

  • Free delivery for orders of $100 or more.

  • Deliveries are generally conducted on weekends.

  • Delivery availability is subject to your location.

We also offer free local pickup from Worongary by prior appointment. Collection arrangements and the exact pickup location will be provided after your order has been placed.

Please ensure your delivery information is accurate and that the delivery location is reasonably accessible.

We will communicate any significant delivery delays or changes to your arrangements.

We do not currently offer interstate delivery. Orders outside our service area may not be accepted.

4. Plant Care and Responsibility

All plants are handled with care and supplied in a condition suitable for their intended sale.

Once received, plants require appropriate care, including suitable watering, sunlight, soil conditions and protection from environmental stress.

Plant growth and survival depend on many factors beyond our control, including weather, soil conditions, planting methods and ongoing maintenance.

While we are happy to provide general planting and care advice, we cannot guarantee the long-term growth or survival of plants under all environmental conditions.

This does not exclude or limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

5. Returns, Refunds and Consumer Guarantees

Due to the perishable nature of living plants, we do not generally accept returns or offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases.

However, all purchases are covered by the consumer guarantees provided under Australian Consumer Law.

If you receive a plant that is damaged, unhealthy, incorrectly supplied or otherwise fails to meet applicable consumer guarantees, please contact us so we can assess the issue and arrange an appropriate resolution.

Depending on the circumstances and your rights under Australian Consumer Law, this may include a replacement or refund.

Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available to consumers under Australian Consumer Law.

Please refer to our Refund Policy for further information.

6. Order Changes and Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes before an order has been prepared for collection or delivery.

Once an order has been prepared or dispatched, cancellation may not be possible, subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

7. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the information provided on our website is accurate and up to date.

Information about plant characteristics, growing conditions, wildlife benefits and suitability for particular environments is provided as general guidance.

Actual plant performance may vary depending on local conditions.

We encourage customers to consider their individual growing environment and contact us if they need assistance selecting suitable plants.

9. Privacy and Personal Information

We collect and use customer information where necessary to process orders, arrange deliveries, communicate with customers and operate our online store.

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes will not retrospectively alter the terms of orders already accepted.
