About this plant

Firewheel tree is an elegant native tree with glossy foliage and extraordinary red-orange flowers arranged like the spokes of a wheel. The blooms appear in vivid clusters and are followed by long narrow follicles, giving the tree interest well beyond its leafy canopy. It makes a beautiful feature tree for bringing a distinctive subtropical character into the garden.
